My name is Jackson. I am a writer and creative from the Pacific Northwest living in Portland, Oregon with too many books and Merle the cat.
I recently graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in French Language just after completing an internship at Seattle’s NPR-affiliate station KNKX public radio.
In college, I worked for my campus newspaper and magazine as a staff reporter, and later, copy editor. As a reporter and editor, I developed a keen eye for detail and perfection through fact checking and edits.
Although a quest for perfection can feel limiting, it has yet to get in the way of my curiosity. I have a broad range of interests and a desire to hone the skills that can improve my future work.
